Winelands JKA is looking forward to a great karate year ahead. Many local competitions and gasshuku’s are being planned for this year, as well as some international events. We are extremely excited for what lies ahead – watch this space!
The beginning of each year can be quite interesting for a couple of reasons. For those who kept training during the December holidays, the first training in the dojo will be quite easy. However, for those who did not, it will naturally be a different story… The key is that we are a karate family who support each other and lend a hand wherever one of us struggles to keep up. Always be a good training partner to others. And even if you struggle to “get back into it”, the key is to throw everything at it in the dojo and go full out. The start will be tough, but the results are always worth it!
We look forward to seeing everyone back at Winelands JKA and if you find yourself in the Durbanville area, please pop by the dojo for a training session or even to just watch a class.
