Cape JKA Karate Grading

Oss!

The students from Winelands JKA in Durbanville took part in the Cape JKA karate grading at Maties Gymnasium in Stellenbosch on Saturday 5 November. The grading is an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their karate skills in front of a panel of black belt senior instructors in order to progress to their next belts. The Winelands JKA karate-ka all performed extremely well and all passed their gradings with flying colours. The following karate-ka achieved the performance of a double grading (when a karate-ka performs so well that they skip a belt): Leana Louw, Tiaan Louw and Jano Louw (mother and sons). Leana also achieved the highest mark on the day of all the Cape’s karate-ka who graded.
